Japandi & Wabi-Sabi
Japandi blends Japanese restraint with Scandinavian comfort, while wabi-sabi finds beauty in natural, imperfect textures. Both favour calm rooms, natural materials and soft, diffused light. This collection brings together lighting and décor that fit: washi-style paper and silk-shade lights, a Japanese-style cylinder lamp, an organic resin chandelier, an all-wood wall clock and a bamboo tea tray.
Creating the look
Keep the palette quiet: warm whites, stone, timber and muted greens or charcoal. Choose fewer, better pieces and leave space around them. Low, warm light from paper or fabric shades suits the style better than bright overhead light.
Light colour
Warm white light (around 2700–3000K) flatters natural materials and keeps the room calm in the evening. Each lamp's product page lists the bulb type.
Japandi rooms lean on texture rather than pattern: timber, linen, paper, clay and stone. A single sculptural light, such as the wabi-sabi resin chandelier, can anchor the whole room.
